Glass-encased foliage has not only an intriguing beauty, but a practicality as well–my favorite combination. Perhaps it’s a challenging climate, lack of green thumbedness or travel that makes keeping greenery in your home difficult. Once established, many terrariums can be left completely alone–save for your admiration–for up to a year.
And there are so many individualized possibilities. The terrariums pictured here are Recycled Bubble Glass by Roost (click on the image to be directed to source). Thrift stores and flea markets are good places to find unique glass containers and any good garden shop can guide you in selecting the right plants for your container size and light availability.
